Credit Usage
The credit allowance for the QuickNode - Scorechain add-on depends on the plan:

Credit tracking
In every API response, we include two headers to help you track your credit consumption:
| Header | Description |
|---|---|
| Credits-Consumed | The number of credits already consumed for the period. |
| Credits-Remaining | The number of requests left in your credit allowance. |
You can use these headers to monitor your credit usage and ensure that you stay within your allocated limits.
Pro-rata credit allocation
If you subscribe to a plan halfway through the month, your credit allowance will be prorated. For example, if you upgrade from the Starter plan to the Growth plan, you will receive half of the credits allocated for the remaining days of the month minus already consumed credits.
Rate Limits
The QuickNode - Scorechain Add-on has rate limits in place to ensure fair usage and prevent abuse. The rate limit for API requests is 10 requests per second. However, we recommend processing batches sequentially, one request at a time, to optimize performance and avoid hitting the rate limit. If you exceed the rate limit, you will receive 429 errors.
