Use Scorechain in ChatGPT
Connect the Scorechain MCP to ChatGPT to score addresses, trace fund flows, and run investigations right inside your chats. ChatGPT connects over OAuth — you sign in with your Scorechain account, with no API key to copy or store.
- ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, or Enterprise. Custom connectors require Developer mode, which isn't available on the Free plan.
- A Scorechain account with API access (app.scorechain.com).
1. Open Apps settings
In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps, then click Advanced settings.
2. Enable Developer mode
Turn on Developer mode. This lets you add a custom (unverified) MCP connector. Then click Create app at the top.
3. Add the Scorechain connector
Fill in the New App form:

Tick I understand and want to continue, then click Create.
The server URL must end with /mcp — https://mcp.scorechain.com/mcp. Without it the connection won't set up.
4. Sign in to Scorechain
ChatGPT opens a Scorechain sign-in page. Log in and approve access. ChatGPT receives a token scoped to your account — nothing to copy. The Scorechain app now appears under your connectors.
5. Use it
Start a chat, enable the Scorechain app from the composer's apps (+) menu if needed, and ask away:
- "Investigate this Ethereum address — full forensic analysis with fund flows and an interaction graph."
- "Screen this Bitcoin address for onboarding — should we accept or reject?"
- "Trace where the stolen funds from this TRON address ended up."
- "Analyze this address's exposure to mixers, darknet, and sanctioned entities."
Troubleshooting
"Something went wrong with setting up the connection"
Make sure the URL is exactly https://mcp.scorechain.com/mcp (with the /mcp path) and that Developer mode is enabled.
Sign-in fails or loops Confirm your Scorechain account has API access, then try connecting again.
No tools after connecting Open the apps (+) menu in the message composer and toggle Scorechain on for the conversation.
